How far is this fear , fair ?

This country, our very own India is a place of diverse opinions. People have different viewpoint. This is a healthy practice in a democratic setup but again how far are these viewpoints fair. Afterall, viewpoints may not be always Independent, they might be honest but they are Biased as well.
There is extremely thin layer of difference between disagreement and dissent. Disagreement is contradiction whereas dissent is conflict. Conflicts are always respected. Contradiction are not because they are sometimes illegit.
Naseeruddin Shah gave birth to an old debate which once was started by Aamir Khan.  The debate of a rising fear in this country.  He believes that 'I fear of my children, tomorrow if a mob surrounds them and ask them about their religion,  what would they say'. Further adding he said, 'there is a poison that has spread in this society'.
I respect his avowel because of his works for the Indian cinema but Mr Shah should not give such comments which are desruptive for the society. I do accept that there have been some incidents which are not ideal in a healthy society but those incidents do not define our society as a fearful society. Incidence of lynching by some Anti Social elements are well known and they should be condemned but those incidents do not mean that everyone is very fearful and we are like Jews in Hitler's Germany and the Nazi government in power will put all Jews in these Gas Chambers. This is not possible because we live in India, a country which is much safer from many other countries.
One desruptive action leads to series of reactions. Pakistan is one of the most unsafe countries across globe and its PM took Naseeruddin Shah's statement to criticize India. People like Imran Khan use such statements to Malign India's image at the global level.
After listening to Naseeruddin Shah statement, I wondered that is this the first time that Mr. Shah is in fear or some earlier incidents like bomb blasts, terrorist attacks also made him fearfull. I found out that he signed on mercy petition to remove death penalty from Yakub Menon given by 40 'liberal' minded people. Yakub Menon was given death sentence because he was convicted of the 1993 Bombay blast. I would like to question Mr Shah that  blast of 1993 made society  more fearful or some lynching incidents are more fearful. He signed on the mercy petition of the person who spread rampant fear in the society. The person who took lives of so many people has no right to life. Mr. Shah considers this time as fearful and the attack of 1993 as a mere incident of violence. Mr. Shah did not say anything when on 26|11 Mumbai was again terrorised. If incidents of lynching are to be condemned , such statements should also be criticized because they are unhealthy for our society.
Therefore Mr. Shah's statement is not fair as it led to some negative assumptions in the society. Few incidents cannot make this country a fearful place. A person like him who holds so much social capital should refrain from giving such statements. I wish there are no political intentions behind this.
